    Michael Kennedy is leading Giovanni Bonelli with a vision to redefine modern luxury—moving beyond exclusivity toward experiences infused with empathy, human connection, and meaning. Under his leadership, Giovanni Bonelli is building a new model for hospitality and lifestyle that places people at the center.

    He began as a Certified Sommelier with The Ritz-Carlton in Washington DC and Grand Cayman before becoming Beverage Director at Blue by Eric Ripert, where he honed the art of delivering transformative guest experiences. In 2014, he founded Component Wine Company, followed by Fraîche Wine Group, now home to multiple acclaimed wineries. His entrepreneurial success has earned him recognition on Forbes 30 Under 30 and as a “Rising Star” by Food & Wine Magazine.

    From sommelier to CEO, Kennedy has consistently challenged conventions. At Giovanni Bonneli, he is carrying that same spirit forward—building not just a company, but a culture of care and vision that reimagines what luxury can mean in the decades ahead.

    The operational heart of Giovanni Bonelli Collection, Kapil is driving a vision of hospitality where every touchpoint is crafted with excellence, care, and consistency. His approach goes beyond standards, focusing an environment that its driving confidence for investors, comfort for owners, and exceptional, thoughtful experiences for guests and employees alike. With over 25 years in luxury hospitality, Kapil has held leadership roles at iconic brands including Auberge, Kerzner international, Marriott, Rosewood, Jumeirah and The Ritz-Carlton. This deep and diverse experience has honed his expertise in orchestrating complex operations while fostering cultures of excellence and empathy.

    As COO, Kapil ensures that every aspect of the Giovanni Bonelli Collection operates seamlessly, translating his passion for exceptional service into tangible experiences that define the company’s standards are a benchmark for the future of luxury hospitality.

    Morgan Stallings

    VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT

    As Vice President of Development at Giovanni Bonelli Collection, Morgan Stallings oversees the group’s development pipeline, represents investor interests throughout the lifecycle of each project, and works closely with partners to ensure that every asset is commercially sound, operationally viable, and true to the character of place.

    Morgan brings a disciplined, investor-minded approach to development, shaped by nearly a decade managing complex, high-value accounts and leading account management teams within a global third-party logistics organization. Her early career built a foundation in operational rigor, stakeholder alignment, and long-term value creation—skills that continue to inform her work today.

    Working at the intersection of capital, design, and delivery refined her conviction that enduring projects are built through clarity of vision, strong partnerships, and thoughtful execution.

  • Marc Gagnon

    Marc Gagnon

    DIRECTOR OF WINEMAKING

    Marc’s resume & accolades as a winemaker are too long to write, but it includes many 100 point wines, roles including Head Winemaker at Bryant Family Vineyard and Assistant Winemaker at Screaming Eagle, and currently Director of Winemaking for Caldwell Vineyard in Coombsville, among other projects. Although his winemaking resume is grand, his personality and skills are far beyond.

    Kennedy describes Marc as a brilliant combination of artist & scientist. Gagnon leads the winemaking strategy and oversees all portfolio winemaking & production in collaboration with Kennedy. Gagnon has been described as “utterly brilliant” by Antonio Galloni, the famed wine critic and founder of Vinous. With Marc leading international winemaking efforts, the portfolio is stronger than it has ever been. Marc lives in Napa & travels to each site regularly.

    Reece Vanasse leads the commercial and brand strategy behind Giovanni Bonelli Collection, shaping assets where cultural relevance and financial performance reinforce one another.

    His work focuses on building brand ecosystems. Bringing together land, partners, culture and operating models to create experiences that are coherent, durable, and commercially resilient. Drawing on a background of over 20 years in hospitality for some of the world’s most respected luxury brands in Europe, North America, Australasia and the Caribbean, including The Ritz-Carlton and Relais & Châteaux, he brings institutional discipline alongside an instinct for originality.
