The Opportunity
We are looking for a Hospitality & Club Director to serve as the internal General Manager of The Calistoga Club and the leader of hospitality across Calistoga Farms. Member Experience & Community
They will steward the founding member experience with the same thoughtfulness and attention given to every subsequent one. They will cultivate genuine relationships and a sense of belonging that extends beyond programming. In partnership with the Director of Membership & Events, they will shape a calendar of experiences that deepens connection to the Club, to the estate, and to one another. They will listen with commitment, gather member insight, and act on what they learn.
Team Leadership
They will lead, develop, and cultivate a hospitality team that embodies warmth, precision, and genuine pride in the experience. They will hire with philosophical alignment in mind, train with intention, and hold the team to a standard of care that is lived daily, not simply observed. Direct management of the Director of Membership & Events and the floor and service team, with clear performance standards, consistent coaching, and the accountability that a culture of excellence requires.
Calistoga Farms Hospitality
They will oversee member-facing and event hospitality across Calistoga Farms, including estate experiences and cave events. They will work in close coordination with winery operations where hospitality and the estate intersect, maintaining clear and respectful lanes across functions.
Financial & Operational Management
They will own the Club's hospitality budget and P&L, managing labor, vendors, and food and beverage inventory with the same care applied to the guest experience. They will track and meet member experience and operational targets, reporting results with clarity and candor to the GM and founders.
Launch & Standards
In partnership with the Founding Club Advisor and GM, they will lead the execution of a soft opening that is thoughtful, unhurried, and remarked on. They will implement the Service Standards and SOPs and hold ongoing responsibility for quality, consistency, and the integrity of the experience as the Club grows.
